The man arched a brow at the woman at her comment. Watch him if he liked mysteries? He got it but didn’t really… Understand it fully. So he just shrugged it off and remained quiet. It was something that he tended to do a lot, unless it was in his native tongue or at work… Or in a situation where he really had to talk a lot – otherwise, Beowulf avoided it. He was that kind of person that spoke when it was necessary most of the time. He did slip up from time to time but overall, that was how he was. As for the movie, he awaited for her judgment. When she spoke about the Borune movies, Beowulf nodded. “James Pattinson is good.” So… The mysterious Beowulf read the novels? Of course he did. He read a lot of things, but most people wouldn’t see him with a book in his hand that was English. Internally, Beowulf was smiling inside. Why? He kind of was a spy… But in a sense of more illegal, both for and against the government. He killed people that deserved to die. Good, bad, neutral; if someone posed a threat, Beowulf set out with it.
Sitting down, he let out a small sigh. Not one of annoyance or boredom, but of relaxation. How many times did he have a movie night with an attractive woman? Not much. He took what he could get in situations like these. Unlike what he gave off, Beowulf noticed what she did. She didn’t touch the electronic device… Just like overseas and at the restaurant. Licking his lips a moment, Beowulf looked over to the DVD player before looking back up at her.
“Pie would be nice.” He never had it before but wasn’t one to turn own new food. After all, food was the way to a man’s heart. It was true! The other saying wasn’t true. Sure it worked, but did it work with his heart? No. Food did. When she spoke, Beowulf remained not phased for a moment as if he didn’t even acknowledge her. That was until he stood up, unbuttoned his suit and slipped the top coat off. Like someone well-mannered, he folded it on the couch right before her before unbuttoning his white shirt underneath. Taking that off, he held it in his hands for a moment, looking at her. “T-shirt?” He spoke before adding on, “Or is this a lie to make me undress?” Friends… Stay friends. Don’t indicate or instigate! Beowulf was failing at that.
