Usually any jobs within the government were rough all in itself. After all, one had to be stronger, tougher, more intelligent to get a job with the federal government. Same with Creed. Though he got it in little luckier than most. Though some were more merciless than others and some weren't well-known or even known to the public, much like Echelon. Creed was an intelligent man that had many degrees under his belt and soon was apprehended by the government. Much like anything abnormal or 'weird', the man was experimented on but soon, unlike most, was set free. Only catch was that he had to work for them. For life? Probably. There were restrictions but Creed was so used to them now that he had been working with them for decades upon decades. He was a loyal man for the most part and though they were still suspicious of the demon creature, they trusted him nonetheless. After all, he was monitored for the longest time and not once, did he expose anything. He was a good little solider in other words. More or less, he had a brain not to anger the government. They were probably the only thing letting him stay alive on this Earth now that he was discovered.
Like any job, Creed went to his every day. He did get weekends off sometime but they were on shifts. He got two days off but they could be in the middle of the week as well – much like the Corrections and the Police departments; their schedules shifted from day to night and so did their days off. It was annoying but it was like clockwork. Two weeks he, two weeks there, back and forth. Today however, was one of those days in which Creed had the day off to do whatever he wished to do. At first the man was occupied with two new books that he found at the local library downtown and so, shoved his nose in a few books. Of course, one book was about science and new findings and the other was about updated court cases and Statues in the New jersey state. As one can see, Creed liked to be one of knowing things and this was just proof of that.
Though he wasn't reading for long by the time he noticed his Golden Retriever dog, Pistachio, walking to the door and twirling around – emoting soft whines. He knew what that meant, the dog wanted to go outside. Though this was by the front door, which was off for the dog. Nonetheless, Creed knew what that meant as well – he wanted to go out, but with Creed. A walk. That was what the dog wanted. “Wait a few minutes.” He informed his dog as he stepped away form his book and walked off to get some better jeans on as well as find one of his thicker Hoodies so all that the winter air wouldn't affect him much. The man may be a demon and one of fire, but that doesn't mean that the cold outdoors might diminish his own flame. Grabbing the dog's leash, Creed knelt down and clipped it on his dog's ruby-red collar and tugged on it gently, making sure it was on good before standing back on. Of course, he took some bags with him for who knew if his dog would make a few little presents along the way. “Let us depart.” Opening the door and closing it behind him, Creed made sure that it was locked. Positive that he had his wallet, keys, and even cellphone in his pockets, he soon walked off with Pistachio leading the way.
The park was a little ways away from his abode, but walking never killed anyone... That he knew of. So, the man took a nice and long stroll with his hound as the day's sun started to fall and the nightly colors started to appear up in the sky. The warm winds that were once in the air started to turn colder now that it was welcoming the night. Entering the park, his feet and his dogs paws walked on the snow on one of the paths, emitting crunch noises below them. Though as they turned one of the corners in the park, Pistachio's ears perked up before he tugged on the leash, dragging Creed with him. “Whoa boy!” He started, trying to tug back on the large adult male, “Calm your stride.” Though the dog wasn't necessarily listening this time around. Odd for a very obedient animal, but Creed assumed that the dog was entering his puppy-mode. Though as they drew nearer to another step of the crunchy snowy grounds, Creed's mind went to work. Raccoon... In the park... Wrapping the leash around his wrist a bit, Creed managed to get the dog to calm down his pace a bit as they drew nearer. Though he soon stopped abruptly pulling the dog closer to him in order for the animal not to chase the rodent. That was the last thing he needed - was to chase a fast canine throughout the park.
