wait for me to come home | Sure, she'd been living in Essex for quite a while; years to be honest. It just never really occurred to her to visit any of the local attractions. Not the mall, part, or even the local museums. Though today was about to change that as Moe was going to explore the local art museum. The East Orange Museum. It was supposed to be filled to the brim with historical pieces from throughout time. Moe was very interested to see if she recognized any of the pieces, which is what brought her here. Well, that and her desire to finally explore her home. Padding slowly through the clean, bland halls full of all sorts of different pieces of art, Moe paused repeatedly to gaze at the stuff. Each piece varied in greatly. It seemed to be sorted strictly by the era in which it was created. The stroke techniques were beautiful in all the pieces, but the newer stuff seemed...almost less inspired? She couldn't really put her finger on it. Still, they were all intriguing and interesting to look at it. Pausing at one particular piece that said that it was a still life painting of a non-descriptive home in a field. There was nothing particularly marvelous about it. Nothing that reminded of her of anything, but then at the very same time her mind zeroed in on her home with Leonardo. Envisioning her own home, her husband and Alicia outside of it. It was as though they were welcoming her home. A smile lit up her lips as she thought of this, but just all daydreams, it vanished. Her smile remained the same as she gazed at the painting. It was as she was about to turn to go on to the next piece that she felt another eyes on her. Her main question instantly was why in the world was this person looking at her with beautiful pieces of art all around. Turning slightly as if to go on down the hallway, but instead she glanced in the direction she felt the eyes. Surprise pulled at her features which left her blinking owlishly. "Leonardo?" she said barely above a whisper. |
