APPEARANCE:Nira is a beautiful woman with intense, green eyes. As it is typical of middle-eastern women, they are always lined with kajal, which intensifies that exotic color. She has long ebony, wavy hair and pale skin. Although she is Middle Eastern, she does not cover herself as typical of muslim women, but she is still pretty conservative and will dress nicely without showing too much skin. Because she is an entity now, Nira is cold to the touch. She is delicate and graceful. Nira comes across as a wise, resolute lady despise of her young appearance, but there is a melancholic look to those beautiful eyes, the sorrow of a mother who had lost her one son, but a fiery determination of finding him.

PERSONALITY:Nira is a very calm, sweet and nice lady. In her past life she was the most loving and caring mother, and a devoted wife. Nothing brought more joy to her that spending time with her little one, her beloved Boewulf. She has very much the personality of a lioness, ever so caring to her cub, but ready to turn into a fierce creature to protect her little one, from anything and everyone, no matter what...because for a good mother, nothing is more important than the well being of her kid, and Nira was an exceptional one. Middle Eastern women are usually submissive to men, it is part of their culture, but not Nira, she would be a good wife, obey, but would not submit when it came to protecting her child. But when she lost him...it was as if all happiness was drained out of her life and she was overtaken by sorrow. Now longer does happiness glimmer in her eyes... Her one motivation in life is to find her son. Outside of her family life, Nira is a highly educated woman and highly enjoys reading, researching and writing articles over her studies.
LIKES:Arabic music, white roses, reading, the countryside, horses, animals in general, her son of course, Buraq, kids, cooking, art, stargazing.
DISLIKES:Fire, demons, religion, bad parents, indian food, sleepless nights, gloomy gray days, the feel of a purposeless life without her child, being alone, Pineapple.
SECRETS:She is a guardian of the spirits; or "spirit master".
FEARS:Not finding her son, fire, (once she finds Beowulf, losing him will be her greatest fear), Mohammad, Hell.
DREAMS:Finding her son, Beowulf and spending the rest of his life, with him so then they can both depart together. Being a grandmother.
STRENGTHS:Her huge, loving heart. Determined. She can summon aid from the spirit world. Umm...she is dead, so she can't be killed. When it comes to her family, she is fearless. Highly educated. Buraq is her ever loyal, companion.
WEAKNESSES:Like any other entity, she could be vanished by a strong enough priest. Beowulf is her biggest weakness, she'd do anything and everything for him. Buraq is a strength and a weakness, although her spirit, she cares for him as well. Children are a big weakness. Certain artifacts that can drain entities of their energy or affect them in any way. Holy places.

HISTORY:Nira was born in Beirut, Lebanon, into a community of Wolf-demons. They were not like other demons though, they were not 'evil' I'd say, at least not her pack. Instead, they considered themselves keepers of balance of the spirit world. They were protectors of spirits, they allied themselves with them. In the spirit world there were the Good, the Bad and the Neutral... Her pack was here to ensure this balance remained and to be vessels for these spirits. Nira was proud of her heritage and her fate. Her family was wealthy, highly spiritual and very powerful. When she came of age 12, she became the vessel for a powerful spirit of name Buraq, who could take the shape of a man and a winged, white Arabian stallion and was strong enough to take highly ranked shaytans. FAMILY LIFE:
Nira grew a happy life, her family owned a prestigious ranch of Arabian horses, which she absolutely loved. Her loving parents made sure she was well educated and she studied all the way to her ph.D in Arabic and Islamic studies. She developed a strong friendship and bond with Buraq and besides academia she was also well educated in the spiritual field. Soon enough Kaitos, the alpha of her pack and her father, soon came to know through his own Spirit: Al-Asad, that an even more powerful spirit was seeking his way to this world...but no one was strong enough to take it.
As it was common in the Middle Eastern world, Nira got betrothed to the son of the alpha of an ally pack: Mohammad. He was a handsome, blue eyed man and he seemed like he would be a good husband for Nira. He was highly religious and a hard working man. They got married, and like most arranged marriages, it was awkward at first, and passion was lacking, but eventually their union brought life and Nira became pregnant. It was quite the event for both wolf packs, for they knew the child would be strong, and the child also meant a union of the packs. They were even more rejoiced when they knew the baby was a little boy.
But a mother knows, and she felt her baby wasn't safe. She knew what his father wanted, she wanted her baby to become the vessel of this powerful spirit... They could all tell, her baby was special. But she felt like her father was not the only one who had plans for the baby. She expressed her concerns to Mohammad, but he did not think his baby was in any danger. Nira then went to her father, and like any good father he listened to the concerns of his daughter. He sent her to the United States, to live with some family friends in California. Mohammad was anything but happy that he had defied his authority as a husband.
Nira gave birth to the most beautiful, blue-eyed baby boy. She loved him more than life itself. There she saw him grow to a strong little boy. She wanted Mohammad to come, to live as a family, to see his boy grow, to be a father, but he did not want to leave Lebanon...and Nira did not want to go back. Her boy was safe here, and it was all that mattered to her. Buraq helped him take care of him too, and take care of her as well. By the time Beowulf was 2 years old, Mohammad had ran out of patience and she forced Nira back into Lebanon by threatening to take the child away from her. She had no other option than to go back.
Beowulf did not meet his father until he was two, and although he was a good father, he was rather cold towards her baby, and very strict. He was highly religious and insisted on raising Beowulf in the word of the Qu'ran. Although Nira was very spiritual, she was not religious, she considered every religion to be too manipulated by men. But out of respect of her husband, he let him, although she was always caring of Beowulf and would never allow for any harm to come to him.
Mohammad and Nira did not have the best of marriages, it seemed more like an agreement of sorts than an actual act of love but she was trying her best to make it work and let Beowulf grow in a nice family environment. But Mohammad had other plans... On her time away Mohammad had allied with another demon pack who had their eyes in Beowulf and contrary from Nira who wanted nothing more than her son's happiness, Mohammad was more of a business man. He highly resented Nira for taking his son away, now he was going to take him away away from her. The other pack wanted the kid to raise him to be the vessel of their own spirit...
On day a man came into the house, Mohammad was not happy he showed up at his home. Nira overheard the conversation and was terrified of what she heard. Immediately she took Beowulf and ran from the house. How could he do this?! To his own son?! She was afraid of calling upon Buraq for help, fearing they would track her down by following the spiritual magic of Buraq. So she ran...carrying her 4 year old in her arms. She needed to protect him...no matter what. She would not let them take him. She did not know if Mohammad knew, but she knew that pack he had been talking to was evil...and she would be dead before seeing them lay a finger on her child.
Nira finally met with a friend, she knew she could not call her family, for she could endanger them as well. This friend of hers was a fellow academic man, and a member of her family's pack. He knew of a place where Beowulf could be safe. He knew of a small convent in the middle of the desert and he knew that the pack that was after Beowulf would never think of approaching that place, it was well protected. Nira was trying her hardest not to cry, for she knew she was going to have to leave her baby there in order to protect him. She embraced him tighter and kissed his head. "It's all going to be okay, Beowulf... Mommy will protect you... Don't be afraid..."
Soon enough they reached the convent and Nira begged Buraq to stay with her child and protect him but Buraq could not...he was bonded to her. With tears streaming down her face she hugged Beowulf one last time and Buraq's solution was to summon a lesser spirit to look over Beowulf shall he need it. It was a jackal spirit who would lay dormant in the child and manifest in times of need. The spirit was attached to a bracelet given to the child. "You are my lunar flower..." She cried, kissing his forehead and holding his little shoulders, looking deeply into his eyes. "Be a brave boy... Mommy will be back for you, no matter what happens..." She knew she couldn't stay longer, they couldn't know she was here.
They drove off and soon enough, they were caught. Nira was interrogated, they wanted the child...but she would not speak a single word. She was slapped, mistreated, beaten and tortured... but no pain in this world would make a mother turn in her child. Mohammad couldn't believe she had done it again, taken his son away from him. She was tied to a steak when Mohammad showed himself. "How could you do this?! To your own son?!" She cried. "Why!?" Mohammad frowned. "You took my son away from me!" Nira was furious! "You were going to give him away! To these bastards! How could you?!" Mohammad chuckled. "Nira, you, yourself are a vessel to a spirit, I was going to gift my son with the spirit Al-Hawwa." Nira cried. "It would have destroyed our son! Turned him into the shadows!" Mohammad frowned. "You are so selfish..." And with that, he left.
"For the last time... where is the chosen child?!" But Nira did not speak. The steak was set ablaze and even in the pain of the flames, she did not speak. She needed to protect Beowulf! She could not die here! She promised she'd be back for him! She promised! Her baby was in danger!
But not even death is stronger than the love of a mother... She never left this world. Her soul remained. It took her a long time to recover, but when she gathered enough strength, her spiritual powers allowed her to materialize. But she was a ghost now...an entity... a mother looking for her son. But she knew she couldn't go by her former name, so she'd use her maiden name, Nira Adib. She returned to the convent, seeking for her child, but she was too late...he wasn't there anymore... The nuns not knowing she was his mother, described the boy as being a monster that could turn into a wolf and threw him into the unforgiving sands of the desert. Terrified... She looked everywhere for him...but he was nowhere to be found. Yet she was relieved to know that Buraq knew he was alive... for he knew the Jackal spirit was still with her son.
From then on, the search continued, calling upon help from the spirit world to find Beowulf by tracking down the spirit within him. Being such a lesser spirit, it was not going to be easy. She came to her parents for help, who were horrified to know what happened. But they sheltered her, and helped her. Although as a ghost, shelter and food were unnecessary...but Nira wanted to try and live her life as human as possible, for Beowulf was alive...and she didn't want him to know what she had gone through, and whenever she found him, she wanted to give him a normal life. Nira traveled the world as an scholar, giving lectures in universities and working as a historian, while Buraq would search for Beowulf. Years passed, but Nira never lost hope of finding her baby, although she was aware he was not a baby anymore... much to her pain, she never got to see her son grow up... but at least she wanted to see him again...
It was until 32 years later than Buraq finally sensed something, and that's the closest she has ever been to finding her son... And this, took them to Essex... Mother: Farah Adib - Alive
Father: Kaitos Adib - Alive
Ex-Husband - Mohammad Mustafa
Son: Beowulf Kassem Mustafa
OTHER:Nira's pack summons the spirits by branding, letting the spirits come and go as they please. The stronger the spiritual powers of the demon, the stronger the spirit they can summon.
