APPEARANCE:Lily is of average height at five feet and six inches tall with very little weight on her. It isn't that she doesn't eat or that she isn't fit, it's just that her body is very slim. Slim as she is physically, Lily's hair is a full, thick mass of blond locks. True they are actually very straight, but there's so much of it that it looks fuller than its actual pin straightness. In an effort to control her mess of locks, she tends to straighten it and pull it back. If it's out of her face, then she's happy. Simple as that. Does that mean she never wears it down? Or done up in another manner? No, it just means that these other ways of wearing her hair is not done often. If you see her with her hair done in some fancy way, then something is going on. Length wise her hair isn’t very long at just past her shoulders, so it’s easier to manage than say her mid-back. Her eye color is a baby blue color, much like a newborn kitten's eyes, and it is one feature about herself that she loves. Along with her eye color, her make-up, if any is worn, is used to accentuate her eyes, so most know she knows they are a lovely color. Her skin is pale white due to the fact that she has a serious problem with tanning. Every single time she tries to tan her skin she ends up burnt, more times than not with painful blisters. She’s given up, so it’s unlikely to see her anything other than a creamy white color.
Clothing wise, Lily isn’t the type to dress down often. She’s a dress up kind of girl, which is partly because of her job and other part because she loves looking fancy. Call her vain if you want, but she knows what looks good on herself and grunge isn’t it. Bed time, at the gym, and when sick are the only times she’s ever been seen outside of her prim and proper attire. Does that mean she always looks like a government official, in all black? No, far from that actually. She loves colors and wears them as often as she can. She just likes the dressier side of life. Dresses, skirts, blouses, button down tops, vests, suit jackets, ties, heals, flats, and anything else that could be considered formal or professional attire. If she absolutely has to, then she’ll wear more casual clothes, but it’ll be a grudging pair of dress jeans, a lace camisole, and a cardigan with flats. That’s not casual enough? Well, too bad because that’s as casual as you’re gonna get. The most awkward times for Lily has been when she’s had to wear a bathing suit. She’s uncomfortable with showing that much of her skin in public. Does that mean she will straight out refuse to go swimming or do other things that require the showing of skin? No, but expect a great deal of blushing and stuttering. She’s a gal from the 1960’s, what did you expect?
CELEB CLAIM:Ginta Lapina.

PERSONALITY:Lily is your typical lady from her time. If you try to put her down or mistreat her, she’ll hold her head high and stay positive. Times could be hard, things could look bleak, but this gal will stay positive. She’s likely the definition of gritting and bearing it with a smile. Strange as it is, if she’s hit or put down, she’ll find humor in it and laugh it off. Try to keep her down? Good luck, she’ll be on her feet and laughing off the situation within hours. She’s not perfect, she’ll cry if she gets hurt, and get made if you hurt someone she cares about, but unless she feels the situation calls for it, she’ll do nothing to retaliate. She’ll laugh with a stranger just the same as she will a good friend. Does that mean she jokes about everything? No, she can be serious. Lily can stare you down, punch you out, focus fully on things, and any other super serious things. She just prefers to joke around, have fun, and laugh rather than be constantly serious. With her profession choice of becoming a lawyer, she feels she needs to work on finding humor in small things now more than ever.
Lily was born during the 1960’s, but has lost a great deal of her old-fashioned ideals. Few of those old ideas remain in her mind, but one is stuck for life it seems. She was a gal taught that her skin was something only the person she wanted to spend the rest of her life with should see. Does that lead to a lot of uncomfortable situations? Yes, she’s seen as terribly shy by everyone in her college classes, especially those she had to take swim class with. Doesn’t matter the circumstances or anything, if you see more of her skin that she’s prepared to have shown, and then she’ll blush as though something awful has happened. Sure, she’ll laugh it off as though it’s nothing, but the blush on her cheeks will tell exactly how uncomfortable she feels. Shy doesn’t even begin to cover this section of her personality.
LIKES:dressing up, going for a run, jumping rope, climbing trees, trying new foods, yoga, reading, watching movies, going out to eat with friends, buying new clothes, trying on new clothes, looking at accessories, window shopping, playing video games, flowers, taking notes for hearing impaired classmates, and learning new things
DISLIKES:fixing her hair, swimming, swimsuits, too short skirts and shorts, falling down, being serious, pain, when the law ends up hurting innocent people, reading about slavery and oppression, fighting, blood, bills, screaming, and not meeting expectations
SECRETS:she has near perfect memory of all things she sees and hears, she's a demon, and has a present near obsession with all things chocolate or cheesey
FEARS:being seen naked and the guy thinking she isn't pretty, being eaten by a shark, being all alone in darkness, and the ocean
DREAMS:to become a lawyer known for helping the underdogs, fall in love and have children, write a few books, and visit her sister more often (Tina)
STRENGTHS:positive person, finds humor in even the small things, well dressed, near photographic memory of all things seen or heard, she's a demon, protective of loved ones, keeps herself fit and in shape, puts others before herself, and tries to find the good in people
WEAKNESSES:hardly ever serious, shy, too modest, can't forget pictures or stories she's seen or heard about horrorific historical or present day events (like murders or rapes), has to be focused to memorize information or images, can't draw, and can't swim in the ocean due to a fear of being eaten by a shark

HISTORY:Lily was born in California on June 11, 1962. Both of her parents were demons, from a long line of demons who knew how to hide what they were. It was a skill taught to the whole family really, so it was assumed that Giena and Chris Grayson would teach all their children to keep hidden. Was the hiding because they were inherently evil? Oh no, they were actually perfectly innocent people who were less likely to break the law than the average human. It was simply to keep hunters and other such threats away. Much like her elder sister, Tina, Lily did well in school. Early on she had the high goal of going to Harvard to get a law degree and keep innocent people out of jail. She wanted to protect people from the bad people. Perhaps it had childish beginnings, but that's where her desire to get perfect grades came from.
It was during Lily's early education that it became clear she had a sort of skill for remembering things. It was while she was learning to read, she was talking to a classmate about their book. Curious to find out what their book was about, but was confused to find that they had to think about it to tell her. Why did they have to struggle to remember what the book was about the read just hours before? In an effort to understand, she asked more questions. What picture was on the front of the book? What characters were in the book? How many pages were there? These were all questions that Lily herself thought was simple, but the friend did not think so. The other little girl grew flustered and angry. She called Lily a know it all and announced to the bus that she was a meanie-face. This was hard, as most things are as a child. Lily came home crying, confused about what happened.
Lily approached her mother about this and was explained that most children do not have that good of a memory. Lily was apparently special in more ways than being a demon. Her mother was certain it wasn't a power, but simply a manifestation of her demon energy advancing certain muscles due to her sheer desire. Lily had been putting all her energy into learning all she could, so perhaps her demon energy made it possible for her to learn all she wanted. It was unclear genetically how it happened or if it was inherent or developed, but either way, Lily had near photographic memory. In an effort to keep this gift under the radar, she was told to not try so hard all the time. It would be normal if she got a few questions a day wrong or doodled some. So, Lily kept her talent to herself and tried not let it show more.
Middle and high school were enjoyable enough. Lily spent 75% of her time studying, reading, or at school activities. She didn't date much since she felt uncomfortable with the whole idea. Human-demon relationships seemed too hard to manage. It was hard for her to make friends because she always found herself cracking awkward jokes which ended up making her into a big joke. No one took her seriously because she got nervous and cracked jokes about everything. Was that bad? Yes, her parents' explanation was that she was so smart she had a hard time connecting with people. She wasn't so sure, but she did try. She'd ended up joining the debate team in an effort to work on developing arguments for points and talking to people without being a joke. It wasn't the easiest thing to do given it was the late 1970's, but she did her best. She did end up making some friends, but very few that stuck with her. They all were just debate friends; that was all. None of them spoke to her outside of meetings and debate events. It was sad, but true. Any free time she had was spent with family, which she felt, was important. Her parents and sisters were all she really had. They were the only people who really knew her.
Graduating high school in 1980, Lily made a choice for herself. She was awkward, socially very awkward, and she wanted to force herself to be in interactions with people. If she couldn't socially talk to people, get them to befriend and trust her, then how was she to be a successful lawyer? It was just something she felt she had to do, so she worked for a few years to earn the money to go on live in another country. It would force her out of her comfort zone, force her to interact with others to learn about her environment, and make her figure out why she was the way she was. It was a choice that she'd been thinking about, but it wasn't until she graduated that she introduced it to her family.
At first her parents were unhappy about it. What was a young girl in the early 1980's going to do in a foreign country? Get pregnant? End of married to someone no one knew and trapped? Dead? Her parents were worried, she understood that, but it didn't deter her. She'd been doing research for months and figuring out where would be the best place for her. She was going to live in a big city in every country she lived in. She would write every chance she got. She would be safe. She knew how to hide, knew how to blend, and knew what to do in emergencies. Lily could do this. She had confidence in herself. It took some months, but eventually her parents tentatively agreed to the idea.
It took some time before she was able to raise a good amount of funds for the trip, so her parents had plenty of time to adjust to the idea. Lily worked her tail end off at a local supermarket and diner for almost three years before she had the money. The only reason it was more than three years was because she still had to give notice of her resignation from employment and had to organize trip details. She'd be riding on a boat to fully enjoy the trip itself and so she could bring enough stuff without being obnoxious about it. No, she didn't bring all her things, but she brought a great deal of her things. She wouldn't be living in hotels, too expensive. She would be renting small homes or apartments for entire trip, so she needed a great deal of her stuff brought along.
Her first stop was London, England, which was interesting. It took her some time to find the small home she'd rented, but once she did, she loved it. It was cozy, her things had been delivered, and she enjoyed unpacking. Life was simple really. There wasn't a new language to learn here, so she simply had to focus on meeting people. She fully enjoyed exploring for the first week, meeting people and being a tourist. After that first week, she started working at a local pub/diner and volunteered at the local museum. Lily wanted to learn everything about her temporary home, so she did her best to do so. She met hundreds of people and put herself out there more than that.
She spent one year in London, one year of working, learning, forcing herself to be social, and working hard to figure out a way to not be a constant jokester. Some things got better, but others didn't change much at all. By the end of the year, she still joked around a lot, but she had an easier time doing it so it wasn't obviously a nervous habit. It was more like she was trying to be funny, friendly, and was just a happy person. It wasn't false, but not completely true either. She felt a tad bit freer, but still felt uncomfortable in her own skin.
It took some time before she felt comfortable with herself, years of living in other countries. After living in London, Lily spent a year in each of the following countries; Russia, Germany, Italy, China, South Korea, Thailand, Ireland, Scotland, and Australia. There was something about each country she grew to love; the language, the art, the food, the dancing, the folklore, and landmarks, the buildings, the clothes, and the weather. There was always something about them, if not many things, that she loved. Her planned ten years were up much too quickly by the end of it, but she had to return home. A party was planned to welcome her home and she had plans to complete.
Returning home was strange. Things were so very different after ten years. People were different, things were different, and she felt different. She wasn't that awkward little girl anymore, she felt confident, fun, and free. She'd learned so much about herself, grew to love her jokester side, and enjoyed life a lot more than she previously did. She was a great deal more popular for a time as well. Few people from her hometown had been to one of the countries she'd been to let alone done what she'd done in its entirety. She was considered strange, interesting, and worth talking to all in one moment. She didn't mind, Lily likely chatting with people. They had a chance to get to know the new Lily and she had a chance to prove herself to be less socially awkward than previously.
Lily took a year to adjust herself and made the move with her parents to New York to get new documentations and identities. They met Tina there so that they could more easily coordinate names and such. They were still a family, but they'd be a family far apart. Lily was going to be applying to Harvard, Tina was being a cop, Iris was doing...something, and her parents planned to move to Florida. Everyone was going to different places. It was a good thing, safer really, but it was still hard. So, once they had all their information changed, Lily applied for a university in New York City. She had to get her undergraduate degree before she could make it to Harvard.
Getting into the undergraduate college wasn't too hard with her grades and her parents were thrilled to help where scholarships couldn't cover. Aside from her core classes and major classes, Lily also got into language courses and literature classes. The debate team was a good bonus for her career choice, but she thoroughly enjoyed spending her free time working on her language skills, written and verbal. She loved it all really. She didn't put much effort into making deep friendships, but more just socialized without everyone. She was friendly, but kept everyone at arm's length. No point in making life-long friendships with people she'd likely never see again. None of them had plans in going to Harvard, so it was a lost cause.
After four years in college, Lily graduated with very good grades and was nearly leaping out of her skin with the mere idea of applying to Harvard. It was her life goal to go to Harvard and become a lawyer. A lawyer for the people! She was beyond excited by the mere idea of studying at Harvard. So at the supposed age of 22, Lily put in her application for Harvard.
It took a few weeks, but after waiting for her entrance exam scores and acceptance letter, Lily was over the moon about going to Harvard. Lily started classes at Harvard College at the age of 22. It was crazy, amazing, and a total dream come true. She loved learning all the laws and details about old court cases. It was all very interesting. It was hard for her to see pictures from murder scenes and hearing testimonials, but she dealt with it. She loved all the other stuff about her career choice. Arguing her points, being able to fully take use of her memory without looking frightening, and being the life of the class for being able to lighten super dark situations. She was doing great really.
It took four years for Lily to graduate from a normally three year program. It wasn't because she failed or anything like that, but more likely she took longer and spread out her classes so that she could also be working as a starting paralegal for the local court house. She wanted real world experience, so she worked her but off to do both. It wasn't easy, but she loved it all. So, four years after starting classes at Harvard, Lily graduated. She was capable of taking the bar exam now for just about any state she wanted. It was all so very exciting.
After a much needed documentation and identity update, Lily moved to a big city in Kentucky to start out her career as a lawyer. Lily survived like that for the next ten years. She would work for a few years in a city, get her documentations updated, and move to another state as a transferring lawyer or simply take the bar exam again as a recent graduate. It wasn't impossible, but she didn't like having to retake the bar exam. By the time Lily was 51 years old, she made a choice to move to where she knew her sister, Tina, was. It wasn't because she needed anything, but more she missed her big sister.
So, the next Lily had to get her documentation updated, she decided to be a new lawyer in Essex, NJ. After moving all her things, getting a humble home, and securing employment, Lily took the bar exam again and sent her sister a letter making her aware of her new residence, phone numbers, email, and a picture of herself. It took less than a month for her to gain employment at a local law firm, which meant she was technically working two jobs. So, she began working part-time as a paralegal and full-time as a lawyer. It wasn’t too hard, especially since it was all very similar work. She enjoyed it. She felt living in Essex would be grand fun with Tina so nearby.
