“Tesbah ala kheer. Hmm?” It was late, around nine or so and the man was already falling behind on everything that he needed to do today. His son was refusing to go to bed even when he got all soft and nice to the kid. He didn't want his dad to leave him. “I said goodnight, son.” The kid pursed his lips in a pouty fashion, his bottom lip trembling a bit, on the verge of crying. “Oh god, what now!?” Sighing deeply, almost like a growling 'groan', Judas got up and walked out of the room. Kaseem yanked the covers off of him and got out of bed, walking after his dad before he returned to the room, holding something. “What is that?!” He asked, “This is Teddy. My teddybear.” That he recently got in order to do things like that. A little manipulative but it worked, didn't it? “He protects me from bad things. See the pendant?” Judas gave his son the bear before picking him up and putting him back to bed. “Remember Garrett? He's coming over. So everything will be fine. I won't be gone for long. Just going to take some photos and that's that.” Explaining things to his now six year old kid and trying to get there on time were two things that didn't work well together.
Kissing his son's forehead, Judas pulled out a candle and put it on the glass plate on the kids dresser; lighting it before looking at his son, “Now go to bed. Ana ahubak.” Leaving the room, Judas sighed deeply; agitated he wasted thirty minutes with his son. He didn't have the room for long and he needed to get as much stuff done as he possibly could. Gathering some items, he shoved them in his backpack and quickly grabbed his camera case, slipping it over his shoulder as well. Screw getting a coat, he'd be fine with what he was wearing. As he walked out of his home, he was texting his friend, who responded right away. He was a few miles away and knew where the key would be so the babysitter part of the night was all good to go. Backing out of the driveway after putting his stuff in the front seat, he soon headed for Blackstone Creek. It was one of the few places that he could take a few shots of the almost creepy atmosphere.
Arriving there, Judas walked around the back and stopped by one of the street poles that were there - one of the few. Kneeling down and taking his backpack off and his camera, Judas started to set things up. He wanted things to be perfect as possible. Though he knew that perfection was a lie and was the eye of the beholder, he tried to get to that as much as he could. Standing up and leaving his backpack on the ground for a moment, Judas took some steps to the side, raising his camera, adjusting the knobs, before taking a photograph of the branches of the tree hitting the walls of the hotels; which gave a creepy vibe. Now if only he had some sort of model or models to go with it to give it almost like a story, that would be great. However, he knew he didn't have any, so the man kept walking around a bit, taking the occasional photograph. He was picky, so he didn't take much.
