NAME:Holly Marie Spencer
AGE:Died at 22, should be 27 years old now.
GENDER:Female.
SEXUALITY:Heterosexual.
SPECIES:Entity.
NATIONALITY:American with English roots.
OCCUPATION:If she were still alive she would be a teacher or a housewife.
`live for suffer, live for revenge
know your life comes to an end*
know your life comes to an end*
APPEARANCE:Holly is a tiny thing, standing only five feet and three inches, and very slim. Her light brown hair often falls past her shoulders either straight or in waves, but she doesn't dye it any other color. Or she didn't--and would never get to. Her skin is very fair. Pale, but would tan slightly when she is exposed to the sun. She has big, expressive hazel eyes too, curtained by long, thick lashes. When it comes to fashion, this lady likes to keep it simple, nothing too frilly and no big bold colors. She isn’t really one to stand out in the crowd and often just likes to look casual, opting for preppy or mod inspired clothes for her more formal looks. Because she is a ghost she is now often seen in the clothes she was wearing when she died: dark jeans and a loose light green sweater with her hair let down and flowing freely over her shoulders. When she was alive she was rather fond of perfume too so this entity makes its presence known by her scent. She always leaves a light vanilla scent where she goes, not the overpowering kind but the kind that you have to be very close to be able to smell it well.
CELEB CLAIM:Emma Roberts.
`taste the blood, taste your fate
swallow your pride with your hate*
swallow your pride with your hate*
PERSONALITY:Holly is an overall sweetheart. She had always been that girl you loved to bring home to mom. She was kind and smart with the right amount of sass and the occasional sarcastic humor. She was a person who loved to laugh and dance to music playing loudly in the background—or even in her head. She was very understanding and kind, though not the type you can push around. No, this lady was patient but would give you a piece of her mind if you do something she doesn’t like, and she would put you in your place when you are being arrogant. She never tolerated brats and would be stern with people when needed. She loved having fun, but she was also that friend who took your drink when you had too much or scolded you when you are being stupid or an ass. She was naturally motherly too, which was probably why she could scold people and still take care of them at the same time. She rather liked taking care of people—especially those that she loved.
LIKES:Her daughter and husband, oceans, coffee, vanilla scents, sweet things, dancing to loud music, dancing to no music, cuddling, piano music, quilts, sushi, traveling, baking...
DISLIKES:Rush hour, getting sick, dirty laundry piling up, dirty dishes in the sink, the smell when it rains after a really hot day, avocados, cigarette smoke, math, crawling things, cancer, death...
SECRETS:Not really a secret maybe, but she blames herself for her daughter's sickness because her father died of leukemia when she was young. She also blames herself for the accident that took her life and almost took Kaylee's as well.
FEARS:Her daughter dying unhappy. She already has accepted that her daughter might not have long to live, but she fears she would die a frightened little girl. She is also afraid of her husband never really falling in love again or him being stuck in the tragedy of the past. It also might be weird but she fears eternity.
DREAMS:She'd say she wished she were still alive, but her biggest dream is for Kaylee to live to be a hundred years old.
STRENGTHS:Compassionate. Cheerful. Loving. Smart. Determined.
WEAKNESSES:Jealous. Stubborn. Easily worried. Can be controlling. Can be too trusting.
`your last breath, your last stance
the last of all in your command*
the last of all in your command*
HISTORY:Holly was born on Christmas eve to Annette and Michael Reynolds. She was the youngest in a brood of four, having one eldest sister and two older brothers before her. Annette was a teacher, and her father was a lawyer. He was a good man, but he worked so hard even when he knew that he had cancer. It probably caused his early demise too, but he was always working hard for his family and he was nothing short of a hero in Holly’s eyes. Her mother, Annette, is a sweet lady and a lot like Holly. She adored children and taught at the kindergarten in Chicago where the Reynolds were originally from. She is a strong woman, and she remained a single mother even after her husband died. Holly was 12 then. At 13, she moved with her family to New Jersey so they could all start a new life together even without their dad.
She was always a good student even if she was not the most diligent. She was smart, and very friendly. She loved being around people and having fun and building good relationships. Her most rebellious moment was when she pierced her belly button at 16, and that was a memorable event in her life even if now she could not understand for the life of her why she got one. It was still a story she wanted to tell her kids one day though, warn them that it was a bad idea. Holly was just a normal teen. She had no incredibly amazing skills, but she was a fantastic and fiercely loyal friend. She had a love for life and had great faith in the people around her.
She moved to Essex when she had to go to college, and that was such a great adventure for her, especially when she met Ryan. They were both freshmen, but he was younger than her. It was so easy for them to become friends. They clicked, had a lot of classes together and eventually grew very close. So close, in fact, that soon they started dating. She adored him. He was perfect for her and she always enjoyed being around him even when they were bickering or debating or just getting on each other’s nerves because they could. She loved him. With all her heart. But even so, when he asked her to marry him, she said no. Holly thought he was kidding. And then she thought he was crazy. They were so young! They had so much ahead of them and she did not want him to forget about his education and so they could get married. She also knew that it was not something to be taken lightly. She did not want to rush into marriage! She dreamed of getting married to him, yes, but she did not want it to be so soon.
It did not take her long to realize, however, that Ryan was someone she wanted to have in her life forever. She was scared, she was worried, and she knew it was not going to be easy for them getting married so young, but she loved him and wanted to be with him. She wanted to be his wife and grow old with him. And so one night she visited him, the ring he proposed with already on her finger, and she said yes. That was the second most rebellious thing she did in her life. And even with the disapproval of her parents, they were still wed in a small ceremony with just their closest friends, and they vowed to be each other’s forever.
Kaylee was the most beautiful thing she has ever seen in her life. She was so precious, and she felt so amazed that something so beautiful came from her. She was an angel. The perfect addition to their family. Ryan and Holly adored the little girl and there was nothing they would not do for her. There were rough days. Ryan decided to pause from his studies so he could take care of the baby, both of them deciding that Holly would finish her studies first. She was twenty two then, happy and content with her beautiful baby and her wonderful husband. They were young, in love, and they had the most perfect baby girl. Little did Holly know that her joy would be shortlived.
Kaylee looked ill. Something was wrong with her, and as a mother she could not just sit and see her baby so sick. Something was wrong, and she needed to know what. And so Holly rushed her to the hospital, leaving only a note for the sleeping Ryan to let him know where they were. The stupid doctors didn’t know what was wrong with her! How could they not know what was wrong with her? They gave some prescriptions and sent them back home, but she was still restless even as her baby slept on her carrier at the back of her car. She had been crying, worried, and she wanted to call Ryan. Hearing his voice assuring her that Kaylee was going to be fine would be enough to calm her down. There were tears in her eyes despite her attempts to blink them away, and her hands were shaking as she reached for her phone to call her husband.
That was the last she could remember while she was alive.
The next time she thought she had woken up, she already felt very light. Empty even, and like she was floating but going nowhere. She was dead. And she was looking at Ryan holding their baby girl as he looked down at her coffin being lowered to the ground. It was amazing how a lot of things become clear after you die, but it was devastating how you could not change anything anymore…how she could never kiss Ryan or never hold Kaylee…how she could not be in their lives anymore… It was heartbreaking how she could only look at them now and not do anything but watch. Long for them.
She would wait though. One day she could make her presence known again. Someday she could be part of their life again.
FAMILY LIFE:Mother: Annette Reynolds (nee Woods)
Father: Michael Reynolds Senior, deceased
Siblings: Joel (30), Michael Jr. (32), Sophia (35)
Husband: Ryan Drew Spencer (25), alive
Daughter: Kaylee (5), alive
OTHER:She was just a ghost who could be felt but not seen. She could leave her scent where she is. People talking about her or remembering her strengthens her ability to make her presence known. After five years though, even this spirit has grown stronger. She would later discover that she can already manifest herself and communicate with a select few--people related to her past--and she can possess the body of a completely unconscious human being. She cannot be touched though. Except probably by another ghost though they most likely would not be able to feel each other.
