You can hide
----------------------------- hold all your feelings inside .
Some said that time went by quickly…to Keita it seemed to drag on endlessly. Everyday seemed to be just another opportunity to see , inflict, or experience some new form of misery…some forms were so perfectly disguised that they almost seemed like happiness. That was the trick of reality…living past death. No, not physical death…emotional death. That moment when everything inside of you had just gone numb. Or, at least that moment when you had convinced yourself that it had. Life had a way of creating illusions that seemed to guard themselves in the strangest of ways. For decades she had convinced herself that she no longer had a heart. Now one man… and one monster…came along and threw that out of the window. She wasn’t quite sure where to go one from here. Things just seemed so confusing for her. She felt more lost than she had in a while.
He had insisted that they would have a date. She wasn’t fond of the idea but for some reason she had given up on fighting him with it. There seemed to be no point in it. He was going to win the battle in the end so she might as well give up. If she didn’t, she’d have to deal with his constant following and pestering her…pulling at those little heart strings that she told herself she didn’t have. Pulling all the right strings to remind her that she did care about something. This entire situation was a mistake as far as she was concerned. It had nowhere to go but to end up poorly. Still, she had made quite a few mistakes in her life time. Most of them seemed to be coming closer in the more recent years. She had just ended up turning some man who had once been an old friend. She should have just finished him off instead of releasing him back into the world…but once again…that entire concept of caring…those stupid emotions managed to mess everything up. Here they were again…starting to pull at her. She looked up from the metal seat that she had been absentmindedly locked onto for the last few moment…when she did…something light seemed to enter into her. A smile threatened to come to her lips…though she wouldn’t allow it. It still peered out a little in her eyes if anyone looked deeply enough. She locked gaze for a moment with the man standing above her. “ Hello Micha” she said softly almost lovingly…before catch herself and placing her mask of indifference on once more. “ Well, I’m here.” She said looking up at him with a shrug. And a sense of forced apathy…which was an oxymoron in itself.
'Cause sometimes we don't really notice just how good it can get
