Walking down the street by her house, the slim form of Lily was not very intimidating. One look at the two canines she was walking, however, was enough to strike fear. Both dogs looked fully capable of taking down a full grown man if need be. A pair of frightening canines being easily walked by the slim, average sized woman she was. It was an interesting sight to behold. Lily, though, felt this was completely normal. Big dogs were her passion, and she loved Fido and Mutt as if they were family. Hell, they were family to her. And they were hella trained too. Neither of them tried to walk ahead of her or pull her, just contendly walked beside her as if they were in no hurry to go anywhere.
The walk was a weekly habit really. Her babies needed to get their exercise and she enjoyed saying hello to the neighbors, especially a group of boys playing basketball. They seemed to very much enjoy petting her little beasties, which was great. Strapping young lads like them playing with her dogs was good for them. Spent more of their energy. Less energy she would have to help them use, that's for sure. Now though, they were on their way back home. Both beasties were wore out from chasing toys in games of fetch. All in good fun, she knew. It was still fun to watch. Especially with that young boy, a bit more than 1/3 her age, who flirted with her as if it were a sport. He was still in college and needed to focus on that. That she knew for sure. He was going to be a doctor.
Walking to her door, unhooking the hounds from their leashes, Lily gave a chuckle when both went straight to their beds. They were bushed! Smiling at the two of them, Lily went up to freshen up and then came back down with her purse and keys in hand. It was off to the game store with her. There wasn't a particular game she wanted, but she loved to shop. The game shop was just the first stop. Today was shopping day, and she loved it.
Arriving at the store, Lily walked in, ignoring all the looks she got. Walking over to the wall of playstation four games, she browsed silently. It was only a few moments before a worker spotted her and came over to help her. "Can I help you find anything?" the male worker asked standing next to her. Turning slightly to give him a slightly confused look. Why did he think she needed help? Three other people came after she did, and he didn't go to any of them. Her look confused him apparently because he asked another more annoying question. "Does he have a playstation or an xbox?" he asked, obviously trying to help, but at Lily's dry look, he amended himself with, "Is the gaming box black or white?" he asked as if speaking to an awkward teenager who knew nothing of gaming stations.
Lily smiled an unamused smile and motioned to the games. "I'm not buying a gift for anyone. I'm browsing for my own PS4. Thank you for attempting to help me, but believe me, I do not need it." she bit off with that bitter-sweet smile on the lips. The guy blushed so hard that Lily almost thought to apologize. Sadly, he took off before she could with an apology under his breath. Bet he wouldn't be doing that to another girl any time soon. Shrugging, Lily returned to her debate between trying the newest Call of Duty and a newer, less popular game company product. Decisions, decisions.
