It was late at night but this little daredevil did not fear the darkness or any of the creatures that may be lurking beneath its veil. An apex predator does not scan its surroundings for danger, instead, it embraces it as a challenge and that's exactly what was happening here. It was not common for a young beautiful lady to trek the dark, ominous streets of Essex at this time, not even for men, yet here she was jogging in the shadows. It had been a long day at her adoptive parent's dojo with not much action going on, she needed some activity. Needed it almost as much as she needed to breathe.
This was Laos, a highly hyperactive young woman. But she only looked young. Laos has been around since the times of the cold war, and she was a highly trained killing machine. Laos' passion did not reside in killing, but on fighting, rendering her opponents into submission and surrendering. Although it would not give her the thrill of the kill which she so dearly coveted, it would keep her calm. Her need for the full hunt was satisfied whenever the agency called her in for duty. Right now, fighting would do the trick.
Despise a harsh past and being a highly trained individual, Laos still kept a fun, mischievous personality, but that could quickly change to that of a dangerous, fierce beast if called for it. Laos was an MMA fighter and current bantam weight champion. Lithe but fit as fit can get and yet delicate and graceful...like a tigress. But before joining the MMA rink, Laos was and still is an underground fighter, where fights lack rules and are less fair, but all the more exhilarating.
Her adoptive parents ever so caring tried to pull her away from the darkness and savageness of her spirit and taught her the peaceful ways of kung fu, which seemed to help her but not ease her desire of confrontation. Laos knew they worried about the illegal fighting so the MMA was the perfect disguise. She did not like making the worry, they already worried enough whenever she was on duty.
Laos stopped, panting. Boy was she tired. Just like a tiger, endurance was not her thing, but massive bursts of energy for short periods of time, that's all she really needed. Something caught her attention though, it was awfully quiet. Deep hazel eyes scanned the darkness. Was she alone? It seemed there was no one around yet something felt off. Her lips curled into a mischievous smile, whoever was up at this time of the night, in this part of town, couldn't be up for anything good. Just what she had been looking for...ooc:: Open thread! ^_^ Anyone up for rp?
